Growing Up WILD: In a Grasshopper’s World

Texas summers and grasshoppers; a better duo than peanut butter and jelly. What are they all about? Learn all about grasshoppers through reading, songs, play, and exploration.

Children will learn about ants leaving with a greater appreciation for these springy critters. After a lesson, craft, and reading, we will take a short hike to the river. We will interact of the Medina River. If you feel comfortable, you and your child can wade in the river under the direction of the park leader.

We’ll start off at the pavilion located a short walk down hill from the park office.

This is a FREE event. Space is limited to 15 children. Please register children attending by clicking HERE.
