Nature Hike: Eisenhower Park

Let’s explore the plants, wildlife, and geology of this rugged 420-acre Natural Area.

The hike will be led by David Goree, education coordinator and Texas Master Naturalist

All ages are welcome; though there will be a good amount of nature and science conversation.

The hike will proceed up the Cedar Flats Trail (0.9 miles, paved surface) to the observation tower and back down the Yucca Trail (0.5 miles natural surface and 0.4 miles paved surface).

Please meet me near the playground (an easy-to-find landmark). I will email everyone a map and reminder a few days before the hike.
