Friedrich Main Loop Challenge (10+ plus parent)

Let’s get an early-morning start and hike the rugged Main Loop Trail at Friedrich Wilderness Park. We will challenge the 1.7-mile ‘difficult to moderate’ trail at a relaxed pace, stopping occasionally to observe plants, insects, and birds.
We will meet at the Friedrich pavilion (next to the bathroom building) at 8:00 am. Bring 1 liter of water per person and a favorite hiking snack. A backpack, hat, and sturdy shoes are recommended, too.
This hike is designed for kids and youth 10 years and older plus a parent.
