Let’s Make Tracks! Eisenhower Park
Children (with adult help) use rubber molds to create realistic plaster-of-paris models of mammal footprints, such as coyote, bobcat, raccoon, and cottontail rabbit.
As the plaster hardens, staff will lead everyone on a 30-minute nature walk . We will be on the lookout for actual animal tracks!
After the nature walk, children remove their models from the molds. We will discuss how animal feet help animals survive in their environment.
We will meet outside the Eisenhower Mass Pavilion at 10:00 am. You will see the event sign when you enter the parking lot.
Eisenhower Park: 19399 NW Military Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78257
