Growing Up WILD: Web of Wonders
There are more than 37,000 spider species on Earth. They can be found in a wide variety of places from forests to deserts to grasslands to gardens. Join us to learn about what makes spiders special and how they are different from insects.
After a lesson, craft, and reading, we will take a short hike to the river. We will interact of the Medina River. If you feel comfortable, you and your child can wade in the river under the direction of the park leader.
We’ll start off at the pavilion located a short walk down hill from the park office.
