Part 2: the group will head out onto the Panther Creek trail and Mesquite trail to observe and identify as many native species as possible! These are unpaved natural-surface park trails. Part 3: black-light stations will be available for you to observe and photograph insects!\n\nWhat is the City Nature Challenge?\nJoin the Texas Master Naturalists, San Antonio Natural Areas, Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy, Texas Parks Wildlife Department, and many others in a fun challenge this weekend, April 25-28, to see which city can document the most plant and animal species.\n\nIt’s easy to participate by joining an event or making observations on your own using iNaturalist!
