DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE ( https://anc.apm.activecommunities.com/sagov/activity/search/detail/55916?onlineSiteId=0&from_original_cui=true ) to register.\nLet’s get an early-morning start and hike the beautiful Bear Grass Trail and Red Oak Trail at Crownridge Canyon Natural Area. We will hike the 1.9-mile route at a relaxed pace, stopping occasionally to observe plants, insects, and birds.\n\nFollow this link for a park map with detailed trail access information.\nWe will meet at the pavilion (near the park entrance) at 8:00 am. Bring 1 liter of water per person and a favorite hiking snack. A backpack, hat, and sturdy shoes are recommended, too.\n\n\nThis hike is designed for kids and youth 10 years and older plus a parent.\n\nThe hike will be led by David Goree, education coordinator with San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department.
