SUMMARY:Family Fun Hike – Eisenhower Park
DESCRIPTION:\nFall is the perfect time for family and friends to hike among the trees and view the San Antonio area from the Eisenhower viewing tower!\n\n\nCLICK HERE ( https://www.eventbrite.com/e/family-fun-hike-eisenhower-park-tickets-420509604547 ) to register.  Choose morning or afternoon hike.\n\n\n\nWe will hike the Cedar Flats Trail to the top of Eisenhower Park, making a few stops for some interesting nature observations (solid surface, 2 miles round trip). We will climb the steps of the Eisenhower Viewing Tower to view the landscape–including downtown San Antonio. We will have little snack! We will descend the trail and receive some cool giveaways–including an “I Hiked to the Top!” backpack tag.\nThis event is free. Two hikes are available: 9-11am or 1-3pm. Registration is required. We will meet at Pavilion 2, which is next to the playground.\nEducation Coordinator David will lead this expedition. Contact him at David.Goree2@sanantonio.gov for more information. Please bring a bottle of water and wear comfortable shoes. The trail is stroller-friendly.\n\n\n\n\n
