DESCRIPTION:Texas has  250 ant species,  they’re everywhere! What are they all about? Learn all about ants through reading, songs, play, and exploration.\nChildren will learn about ants leaving with a greater appreciation for these crawling critters. After a lesson, craft, and reading, we will take a short hike to the river. We will interact of the Medina River. If you feel comfortable, you and your child can wade in the river under the direction of the park leader.\nWe’ll start off at the pavilion located a short walk down hill from the park office.\nThis is a FREE event. Space is limited to 15 children.
